Wild Women Running is an Arizona based run club focusing on the women in trail running community. A growing social media presence demanded that the organization rebrand from their original logo, which was detailed and did not scale well for screens.
Focusing on inclusivity, the logo that was developed centers around badge featuring a desert trail, anchored with a hand drawn wild where each letter evokes the message of runners of all shapes and sizes being welcome.

IN PRINT AND DIGITAL LAYOUTS, THE "WILD" LOGOTYPE IS USED AS AN ABSTRACT FRAMING DEVICE. AT THIS SCALE, OFTEN THE LETTERFORMS TAKE ON SHAPES THAT RESEMBLE PUMPING LEGS AND THE SUDDEN CURVES OF A TRAIL AND ITS SUMMITS.
