Arizona Landscape Contractor’s Association (ALCA) was looking to rebrand and wanted this announcement to coincide with their annual Excellence in Landscaping Awards Gala.
A save the date was then developed that served as both a promotion for that event as well as a grand unveiling of the new logo and brand. The designs, with their cutouts and unfolding panels, are meant to evoke the feeling of digging into the earth, revealing the potential of greenery beneath the surface.

BRANDING, LOGO DESIGN, COLLATERAL DESIGN, TYPOGRAPHY

THE REBRAND WAS TO FOCUS ON THE LANDSCAPE AS MUCH AS THE METHOD OF LANDSCAPING. COMBINING A SAQUARO AND A SHOVEL INTO THE SAME IMAGE, DIVDED BY THE EARTH OF ARIZONA VISUALIZES THE PROCESS OF THE WORK ON THE EARTH THAT RESULTS IN THE END RESULT OF A NEW LANDSCAPE.
AS A LITTLE EASTER EGG, THE ORIGINAL ALCA LOGO IS SHOWN ON THE BACK OF THE SAVE THE DATE, AS A MEANS OF A FINAL GOODBYE AND A NOD TO THE PAST.
