Using local Phoenix valley history of rock climber (dirtbag) feuds, this organization aims to bring local climbing competitions to Phoenix, a city where such events are shockingly not that common. The name No Gud Comps (No Good Competitions) draws on rectifying this void while also harkening back to the message climbers would leave on routes they deemed low quality. The bolts would be cut and replaced with metal tags imprinted with the words "No gud."
This logo aims to resemble a rock wall, threaded through with climbable cracks and gaps. It holds that rough dirtbag punk aesthetic while being clean enough to communicate clearly in a modern climbing community.
