During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tempe Center for the Arts lost its ability to provide the community with its staple of local and national acts live on a physical stage.
As a reaction, SHFT was created. An entirely virtual season, SHFT brings the TCA audience live shows, streamed live. To evoke this feeling of an impromptu shift in an art center's focus, a logo and brand were created that evoke that feeling of spontaneity and renewed energy in a time where enthusiasm was at its lowest.
